Important: all RadioKit applications are currently in beta. They are software under active development that may contain bugs, behave unexpectedly or stop working without notice. Do not use in critical production without a fallback plan.
📦 1. Beta software nature
RadioKit Diretta, Timer, Regia and Speaker are software in active development. They are distributed free in beta for testing and feedback collection. Key beta traits:
- New features are added, changed or removed continuously without notice
- May contain known and unknown bugs causing malfunctions, crashes or data loss
- Interface, APIs and file formats may change in non-backward-compatible ways
- Performance is not optimized to stable-release level
⚖️ 2. No warranty ("AS-IS")
RadioKit beta software is provided "as-is", without any warranty express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Fitness for a particular purpose (e.g. professional radio broadcasting)
- Uninterrupted, error-free or 24/7 availability
- Compatibility with any specific hardware, software or network configuration
- Compliance with local broadcasting regulations or rights collection authorities
The user uses the software at their own risk.
🚫 3. Limitation of liability
In no event shall IDROMOLARE SRL, its developers, employees or collaborators be liable for:
- Broadcasting or streaming interruptions caused by bugs or malfunctions
- Data loss (recordings, configurations, schedules, audio files)
- Economic damages direct or indirect (lost ads, sponsors, audience)
- Reputational damages towards audience, guests, sponsors or authorities
- Administrative penalties for non-compliance with broadcasting regulations
- Hardware/software conflicts with RadioBOSS, OS, audio cards or peripherals
🛟 4. Recommended fallback plan
As beta software, we strongly recommend:
- Keep an active secondary broadcasting system as backup
- Run regular backups of RadioBOSS config and important audio files
- Test new features in low-audience hours before using them live
- Have an emergency plan to resume broadcasting after a crash
- Do not use beta on commercial FM/DAB+ radio in protected time slots without supervision
🔒 5. Data collected
During beta app use, minimal technical data is collected for software operation and improvement:
- Bridge state: liveness ping, app version, app errors (no audio content)
- Configured stream URLs: voluntarily entered by user for listener monitoring
- Listener count: public aggregates read from Icecast/Shoutcast servers (no listener IPs)
- radiokit.io visits: IP and User-Agent hashed (no profiling)

📜 6. Beta license
The beta license is:
- Free, valid 30 renewable days
- Personal and non-transferable — one key per radio, not shareable
- Revocable at any time by IDROMOLARE SRL (misuse, abuse, fraud)
- No obligation to purchase when software becomes commercial
📢 7. Service changes
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend or terminate the beta service at any time
- Change terms of use with email notification to registered beta testers
- Limit access or features for technical or legal reasons
- Release paid stable versions at the end of beta (beta testers will have guaranteed discount)
📞 8. Support and bug reporting
During beta, support is best-effort via:
Typical reply within 24-48 business hours. No SLA guaranteed during beta.
⚖️ 9. Jurisdiction and applicable law
This disclaimer is governed by Italian law. For any dispute the competent court is Padova, Italy, registered office of IDROMOLARE SRL.
