Professional software for low-latency audio contribution. Connect your field reporter to the radio studio live — over the internet, in broadcast quality.
RadioKit Diretta creates a real-time audio channel between two endpoints: the reporter in the field (REMOTE) and the radio studio (STUDIO). The connection goes through the RadioKit relay server — no network configuration required.
⚡ Typical latency 80–150ms — Opus codec 48kHz stereo — TCP (traverses NAT/firewall)
Each beta license includes a unique 6-character room code. STUDIO and REMOTE enter the same code to connect. No one else can access your room.
The license is bound to PC hardware (HWID). Audio is transmitted directly between endpoints via relay — the server never records any audio.
Two modes to integrate the reporter voice into your radio setup:
Received audio is routed to VB-Cable. RadioBOSS, OBS or any DAW sees it as a normal microphone input. Full-duplex: both sides use RadioKit Diretta.
Ideal for: live broadcasts with audio return for the reporter
The REMOTE audio is served by the relay as an ICY MP3 stream. RadioBOSS connects to your room's fixed stream URL. The studio PC does not need RadioKit Diretta installed.
Ideal for: automated playout, maximum simplicity, no extra software in studio
💡 The room code is in your beta license — configure RadioBOSS once only.
Everything you need for professional audio contribution.
48kHz stereo Opus, 64–320 kbps. Broadcast quality even on sub-optimal connections.
Adaptive jitter buffer, 80ms target. 20ms frames. TCP traverses NAT/firewall without configuration.
ON AIR button in studio with LED visible to remote. The reporter knows when they are live.
VU meter targeting -18dBFS, green/yellow/red zones. Integrated clip guard.
Two-way text chat studio-reporter. Off-air communications without using the audio channel.
Italian and English interface. Switch language with one click without restarting the app.
License bound to PC hardware. Key RK-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. 7-day offline grace period.
ICY/Shoutcast MP3 stream for RadioBOSS/VLC/OBS. Fixed URL per room — no reconfiguration needed.
Automatic free port detection (7500, 7501…). Multiple instances on same PC without conflicts.
No. RadioKit Diretta uses outbound TCP connections to the relay server. It works with 4G/5G hotspots and behind any firewall.
This is macOS Gatekeeper. Right-click the app → Open → Open. You only need to do this once. We are working on digital signing to remove this step.
Yes — with Mode B. The reporter uses RadioKit Diretta in REMOTE mode. RadioBOSS connects to the fixed stream URL of your room. The studio PC needs no additional software.
Unlimited. Each STUDIO+REMOTE pair uses a separate room identified by a unique code — they never interfere with each other.
The app attempts automatic reconnection. The jitter buffer absorbs small interruptions without audio glitches.
No. The relay transfers packets in real time without recording them. See our Privacy Policy.
320 kbps MP3 stereo at 48kHz — more than adequate for any AM/FM/DAB+ broadcast. Audio is decoded from Opus and re-encoded to MP3 in real time on the relay server.
